It was a sad moment when it was confirmed that O R Tambo Netball Coach, Nocamagu Mvunyiswa had indeed passed away in the tragic bus accident of 6th December 2021. Sad for many reasons. She was a passionate netballer who had progressed from a player of note to a very promising coach.
Witness to her coaching progress is her appointment to the Assistant Coach position for the very successful E Cape Aloes teams of 2020 & 2021. Sad because a very promising career as a role model to young up and coming netballers has been cut short. Sad because her feisty aggressive straight talking and efficient hard work will be sorely missed by her District colleagues. She is summed up by the single word, Passionate in all that she did and the example she left should be an inspiration to many netballers in generations to come.
Her membership with SASCA came with the same passion. We in the Coaching fraternity will certainly miss her and thank God for the contribution she made in her all too short life. RIP.
